Job summary

Envirotest, a subsidiary of Opus Inspection, is seeking an Equipment Technician in Annapolis, MD to maintain emission equipment and related lane systems. The role includes diagnostics, calibration, and routine maintenance with travel up to 30% of the time.

You will work independently with strong customer service and communication skills to ensure reliable operation of station equipment and accurate documentation of service records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of testing equipment and digital voltmeters.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and calibration of emission equipment and lane systems.
• Install, test and calibrate equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Assist in maintenance of electrical and electronic systems such as alarms, networks, and peripherals.
• Conduct scheduled routine maintenance tasks per established procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Driving up to 30% of the time.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
