Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team. The E3 Engineer will lead EMI/EMC engineering efforts for specific Programs and ensure E3 standards are met across design and verification activities.

Qualified candidates will have EMI/EMC design or testing experience, familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464, EN5550X, EN61000-XX, and FCC Part 15, plus the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or 2+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • EMI/EMC analysis and/or testing experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB, ANSYS HFSS or CST.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for assigned Programs and ensure E3 standards are met.
  • Set E3 requirements, schedules, and manage E3 deliverables.
  • Communicate E3 risk conditions to Program Leadership clearly.
  • E3 engineers participate in all Program E3 technical discussions and decisions.
  • Collaborate across Mechanical, RF, Systems, and Electrical Engineering fields.
