Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced E3 Engineer to lead EMI/EMC engineering for programs. You will guide EMI/EMC design and verification across multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with MIL-STD and industry standards.

The role requires strong collaboration with Mechanical, RF, and Systems Engineering, plus the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Onsite work in Tucson, AZ is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in STEM or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • EMI/EMC analysis and design experience and/or testing.
  • Experience with MATLAB, ANSYS HFSS or CST.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for assigned Programs.
  • E3 Engineers are challenged with making sure the product and process meet appropriate E3 standards.
  • Set Program E3 Requirements.
  • E3 Engineers develop E3 Program schedules, provide scoping estimates, and manage all E3 Engineering Program deliverables.
  • Provide clear communication and guidance to Program Leadership related to E3 risk conditions and constraints.
  • E3 Engineers are present, visible, and accountable related to all Program E3 technical conversations and decisions.
  • Provide cross-discipline collaboration.
  • E3 engineers interact with Mechanical, RF, and Systems Engineering as well as Electrical Engineering.
