Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced E3 Engineer/Engineering Program Lead to oversee EMI/EMC efforts for one or more programs onsite. The role requires deep EMI/EMC expertise, MIL-STD familiarity, and the ability to drive program requirements and schedules.

The candidate must have EMI/EMC design experience, Matlab/ANSYS/HFSS or CST skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• EMI/EMC analysis and design experience and / or testing experience.
• Experience with MatLab, ANSYS / HFSS or CST.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for assigned Programs and ensure E3 standards are met.
• Set Program E3 Requirements, schedules, scoping estimates, and deliverables.
• Provide communication to Program Leadership on E3 risk conditions and constraints.
• Be present, visible, and accountable in all E3 technical conversations and decisions.
• Provide cross-discipline collaboration with Mechanical, RF, Systems, and Electrical Engineering.
