Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced E3 Engineer to lead EMI/EMC engineering for selected programs. You will oversee EMI/EMC design and verification, risk assessment, and ensure compliance with MIL-STD-461/464, EN5550X, EN61000-6-XX and FCC Part 15.

This onsite role requires strong collaboration with Mechanical, RF, and Systems teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in STEM or 5+ years of relevant experience, plus MATLAB/ANSYS/HFSS/CST skills and the ability to obtain a DoD security

Qualifications

  • EMI/EMC analysis and design experience and/or testing experience.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, ANSYS/HFSS or CST software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent and 5+ years of experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for assigned Programs and ensure E3 compliance.
  • Set E3 requirements, schedules, scoping estimates, and deliverables.
  • Communicate E3 risk conditions to Program Leadership clearly.
  • Be present and accountable for all E3 technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, RF, Systems, and Electrical Engineering teams.
