Job summary

The Boeing Company in Tukwila, WA seeks an Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineer to develop and validate E3 requirements and architectures for complex aircraft systems. You will perform tests to verify EMI/EMC, interface with suppliers, and contribute to program level planning and design reviews.

This role is onsite in Tukwila with opportunities to advance in a defense aerospace environment and to work across EMI/EMC disciplines on evolving platforms such as E-7A and KC-46A

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
1+ years of experience with electromagnetic concepts.
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

Perform trade studies, modeling, and analyses to optimize E3 performance.
Achieve EMC of electronics, wiring, and structure with minimal direction at higher levels.
Interface with manufacturing and suppliers on E3 design aspects.
Review supplier test plans and reports for technical correctness.
Support project management with work statements, budgets, and schedules.
Develop test automation for aircraft modifications.
Document EMI analyses and tests.
