Job summary

The Boeing Mobility Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) Electromagnetic Effects Group is seeking a broad range of experience levels, including Career, Expert, and Consultant level Electromagnetic Effects Test, Analysis and Design Engineers. This contract position may be located in Titusville, WA, Oklahoma City, or San Antonio, with work supporting U.S.

military and commercial programs. Primary responsibilities include EMI/EMC design, trade studies, and integration of E3 requirements across aircraft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics or physics.
• Familiar with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding and filtering.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time as required.
• 5+ years of related work experience (Career Level).

Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation to predict performance and optimize E3 design.
• Work (under minimal direction) to achieve EMC of electronics, wiring and structure.
• Interface with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure system-level compatibility; report to program management and customers.
• Support project management by coordinating work statements, budgets, schedules and reviews.
• Develop and implement Test Automation for aircraft modifications.
• Apply EMI engineering methods to document and solve complex problems.
