Job summary

AdventHealth Hendersonville is seeking an Electrodiagnostic Technician to assist with rooming patients, take accurate vital signs, and prepare them for EMG testing, including nerve conduction studies. You will operate electrophysiologic equipment, document results promptly, update demographics in EMR, and coordinate with physicians, nurses and labs to ensure safe, accurate and comfortable examinations.

A minimum of 1+ year EMG experience or CNCT, and BLS certification are required; AAET

Qualifications

• 1+ year EMG experience or CNCT certification
• BLS certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist with rooming patients and obtaining accurate vital signs
• Prepare patients for EMG tests and explain procedures
• Set up and operate EMG/nerve conduction equipment
• Document results accurately in EMR and ensure timely charting
• Coordinate scheduling of EMG procedures and follow-ups
• Maintain testing rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Adhere to universal precautions and safety protocols
