You will work with agencies including DOTs, counties, cities and developers, supporting signal timing, modeling, and ITS design while learning under a licensed Professional Engineer. The role emphasizes collaboration, growth, and delivering high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or actively pursuing degree.
• 0–4 years of experience in Traffic Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Strong initiative, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support signal timing projects and build/optimize Synchro models.
• Develop regional travel demand models for forecasting and simulations.
• Conduct capacity, operations, and safety analyses for TIS, ICE, and corridor studies.
• Support ITS documentation, evaluation, and design.
