Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is offering an Operations Support, Emerging Talent Intern position in Brooklyn, NY. This onsite internship provides hands-on experience in building a Workforce Management System using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for Timekeeping across subway operations.

You will help digitize forms, streamline processes, and support stakeholder collaboration while developing training materials and improving data workflows.

Formación

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; Power Apps/Automate/BI a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently while being a team player.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and document workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing and implementing components of a Workforce Management System to support Operations Support – Timekeeping.
• Support the digitization of timekeeping forms and streamline related processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to observe workflows and document opportunities for process improvement.
• Contribute to the creation of quarterly training materials and internal communications for department staff.
• Help organize, review, and accurately enter employee time and leave data into the Timekeeping system.
• Support Employee Focus Groups by preparing materials, tracking action items, and assisting with follow-up tasks.
• Help develop and maintain a centralized shared drive or reference database for timekeeping resources.
• Assist in analyzing workforce or operational data to support planning and recommend potential enhancements.
