ZenPoint Solutions LLC is seeking dedicated Software Developer, Tester and Technical Communications Interns for a 3-month, part-time engagement that can largely be performed remotely. You will gain hands-on mentorship, network with experts, and develop a resume for future opportunities.

Open to students in good standing, with a passion for technology and collaboration. This role offers flexible, part-time hours (approximately 5–10 per week) and a pathway to longer engagements based on mutual fit.

Qualifications

• Interest in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong passion for technology paired with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
• Experience working with at least one modern object-oriented language (e.g., Java, C#, C++, Python).
• Foundations in computer science fundamentals, including design principles, algorithms and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the development team in a sandbox environment to translate requirements into code.
• Implement Clean Architecture principles in new feature development and existing codebases.
• Build software solutions designed for modern, distributed, service-oriented architectures.
• Collaborate within an Agile team to support high-quality, reliable software delivery.

Engagement Details

• Clearance Requirement: None at the time of application. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for an Interim Secret clearance. ZenPoint will assist you through the process.
• Duration: Targeting a 3-month initial temporary engagement, with potential to extend for a longer duration based on mutual fit.
• Schedule: Part-time (approximately 5-10 hours per week).
• Work arrangement: This will largely be a remote opportunity.

• Experience working with others in a collaborative team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior project, research, or industry work experience.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and relational databases.
• Experience with AI or AI coding tools.
• Experience with Windows computers.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Pay Rate: $20/hour
