Job summary

Walgreens in Chesterton, IN seeks an experienced manager to supervise customer service associates and oversee front-end and pharmacy operations. You will support the Store Manager, drive store performance, and lead the team to meet company deliverables.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, merchandising, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with policies. You will mentor staff, handle customer concerns, and collaborate with partners to improve sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. (as stated in basic qualifications)
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English (except Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Relocation to a different store location may be required for promotion
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens locations

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service and front-end operations; recruits, trains, and disciplines staff
• Engages customers, resolves complaints; coaches team for improved service metrics
• Manages store operations, scheduling, cash handling and inventory controls
• Provides support to Store Manager and District Manager; drives store performance and profitability
• Ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
