Walgreens Co. in Newport News, VA seeks an experienced Store Manager to supervise customer service associates, manage front-end and pharmacy operations, and support overall store performance.

You will lead recruitment, coaching, and discipline, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and adherence to company policies. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to analyze data, drive improvements, and manage scheduling, inventory, and security, with a path toward Store Manager

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program or high school diploma with two years in a supervisory position.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with professional business ethics, motivation and strong communication skills.
• Completion of Store Manager training or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of ESM start date.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

Mansioni

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters.
• Supports Store Manager with overall store operation to achieve company deliverables; covers Store Manager duties when absent.
• Leads and manages store team members including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Engages customers and patients, resolves complaints, and models customer service best practices.
• Monitors customer service, trains and coaches staff, and develops improvement plans.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to drive store improvements and growth.
• Supervises store operations, scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with policies, laws, and safety standards.
• Operates as pharmacy technician during busy periods to support Pharmacy operations.
