The successful candidate will lead program managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with division strategy, customer priorities, and business objectives, managing portfolio risk and opportunity, driving execution rigor, supporting capture and proposal activities, and strengthening customer relationships to enable long‑term mission partnership. In addition, the Portfolio Manager will support workforce planning, talent development, and performance management within the portfolio, helping cultivate a high‑performing, accountable team aligned with Leidos’ values and commitment to delivering mission‑critical capability.

  • Ensure compliance with security requirements, including execution within Special Access Program (SAP) environments as applicable.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Security functions to ensure portfolio success and growth.
  • Develop and mentor technical and program leadership talent to sustain innovation and execution excellence.

  • Strong business acumen, including experience with forecasting, financial management, and operational performance metrics.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the north Alabama area.
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret clearance.
