Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Junior Public Engagement & Outreach Analyst to support planning and delivery of inclusive engagement for electric transmission projects. You’ll build relationships with landowners, communities, and officials to support project planning and permitting.

You will translate technical information into clear language, maintain stakeholder records, and help organize open houses, workshops, and site visits, with a travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, public policy, environmental studies, planning, political science, community development, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, community relations, or communications.
• Ability to translate technical project information into clear, understandable language for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach plans for electric transmission projects.
• Assist with event coordination, venues, staffing, and documentation for public meetings and site visits.
• Build relationships with landowners, communities, regulators, and officials.
