Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. in Michigan seeks an Assistant Project Superintendent to support the Project Superintendent in delivering safe, high-quality construction projects. This hands-on role coordinates daily jobsite operations and helps maintain schedules while fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workforce needs, work sequencing, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Guide craft workers to promote productivity, collaboration, and clear communication.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and schedule execution to keep projects moving forward.
• Participate in meetings with subcontractors, owners, architects, and contractors to stay aligned on priorities.
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and field documentation.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and inspections.
