Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Texas is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM), an entry-level PM role to manage small to medium projects through the lifecycle, focusing on planning, procurement, delivery, and documentation.

You will support senior PMs on larger projects, assist with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and reporting, while building experience in budgeting, change control, and project administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of project coordination or project management experience, preferably in low-voltage systems, construction, technology integration, or related fields.
• Internship or prior experience supporting project managers or working on project teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overall exceptional Project delivery and customer service.
• Development and execution of all project-related documents and deliverables such as the Test & Acceptance Plan, Communications Plan, Risk Analysis and Mitigation Plan, and unique customer requirements/rules and standards.
• Material Procurement and Delivery Schedule.
• Internal/external Kick-off meetings.
• Weekly Project Status Reports.
• Punch lists.
• As-Built/Closeout.
• Manage subcontractors/vendors effectively and efficiently.
• Develop integrated project schedules with tasks, durations, resources, milestones and dependencies.
• Ensure on-time completion of contract administration, change control, submittals, procurement, deliverables, and schedule.
• Prepare and submit weekly customer status reports.
• Procurement coordination including identifying long-lead items and maintaining material tracker.
• Develop and adhere to the Project Safety Plan.
• Track and manage budget using budget tracking and job costing tools.
• Ensure invoicing is completed on time.
• Schedule and facilitate cadenced project meetings with team members, vendors, and customer management.
