Job summary

Genesis Products in Goshen, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations and build a high-performing team focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.

You will anticipate challenges, streamline processes, and partner with plant leadership to meet customer expectations and drive operational excellence. This entry-point role develops future Plant Managers and leaders through hands-on coaching, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent professional experience.
• 0–5 years of professional work experience.
• Demonstrated leadership potential through academics, internships, projects, athletics, military service, or early career roles.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both frontline employees and leadership.
• High level of ownership, initiative, and learning agility.
• Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• Internship or work experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, or analytical roles.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization.
• Experience leading projects, teams, or initiatives (formal supervision not required).

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop People: Supervise and coach a team of 20+ production associates; establish clear safety, quality, and productivity expectations; provide feedback and coaching; support hiring and onboarding; foster a performance-driven culture.
• Drive Operational Execution: Execute daily production plans to meet customer and operational targets; plan priorities, staffing, and workflow; monitor performance and address gaps.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment aligned with OSHA and internal standards; enforce policies; document incidents and corrective actions; promote safety-first culture.
• Improve Processes: Investigate deviations using root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions; participate in lean/continuous improvement initiatives; seek efficiency and quality gains.
• Administrative Leadership: Review timekeeping, overtime, payroll adjustments; maintain documentation; communicate across shifts and departments.
