Job summary

Voltava seeks a Junior Production Supervisor in Michigan to develop leadership skills while supporting production, materials, quality, and customer liaison functions. The role offers hands-on training, coaching from plant leadership, and exposure to ERP tools in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

You will learn to monitor production, support team members, and help ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while growing into future supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured development process across Operations, Materials, Quality, and Customer Liaison functions.
• Support Team Leaders and Team Members; monitor production performance and safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Develop leadership skills through coaching and communicating expectations.
• Learn production systems and processes to understand customer requirements, status, sequencing, and delivery.
• Support material coordination including inventory monitoring, shortages, cycle counts, and material flow.
• Support quality activities including inspections, containment, corrective actions, and problem-solving.
• Engage with customer liaison responsibilities and communicate issues with follow-up.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Build cross-functional relationships across departments and learn ERP and MS Office tools.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, and process performance.
• Provide coverage in different plant functions as competency develops.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development reviews.
