Job summary

Plumas Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager I to support the commercial lending team with timely, accurate loan process assistance and client communications. This role partners with Commercial Lenders and other Portfolio Managers to gather financial documentation and ensure quality in loan files.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or combination of education and experience in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of lending or equivalent experience required; business lending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the commercial lending team by actively participating and assisting in all aspects of the loan process.
• Assists commercial lenders with preparation of prospect review memos, ALCO requests and term sheets/LOIs, and may attend sales meetings/calls and serve as additional contact for commercial bank clients.
• Builds customer profiles in the bank’s loan origination software and assists in application generation/intake process for loan originations, renewals and other credit actions.
• Works closely with Commercial Lenders and Portfolio Managers to assist in obtaining necessary financial documentation and other documentation needed for the application and loan file.
• QA and loan closing process understanding and participation.
• Assists in clearing collateral exceptions, reporting information, implementing new systems, etc.
• Identifies opportunities to meet client needs and expand relationships; may assist lenders in prospecting efforts.
