Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Managing Director to lead Emerging Middle Market Coverage Investment Banking, driving strategic client engagement and delivering the full suite of J.P. Morgan products, including M&A, equity and debt advisory.

The role requires a fifteen-year senior IB background, exceptional communication, and a proven ability to manage complex client mandates. The MD will report to the Global Head of MidCap IB and shape strategic coverage in this segment.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years in a senior investment banking role.
• Strong track record in Emerging Middle Market deals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Independent project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute M&A, Equity, and Debt transactions for sponsors and strategic clients within the Emerging Middle Market.
• Collaborate with industry and product bankers to deliver integrated financial solutions.
• Demonstrate strong sector experience in Industrial, Retail & Consumer and/or Business Services.
• Manage and coordinate client requests, deal execution and liaise with internal teams and external professional advisors.
• Provide timely market intelligence and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Represent JPMorgan Chase at business and industry events to identify new business opportunities and pitch for mandates.
• Lead and participate in client meetings, supported by internal partners.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to team members.
