Job summary

US-Development-Finance-Corporation (DFC) seeks an Investment Funds Specialist to lead origination, monitoring, and exiting of investments for the agency's investment fund program. The role requires handling the full lifecycle of private equity fund investments, with emphasis on emerging markets, and negotiating fund terms including LP/GP structures.

Co-investments alongside fund managers are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that includes:
• Managing the full lifecycle of private equity fund investments, including origination, underwriting, executing, monitoring and closeout of private fund investments (ideally in emerging markets);
• Negotiating private equity fund terms and/or conditions, including structuring Limited Partner/General Partner (LP/GP) vehicles and separately managed accounts; AND
• Underwriting direct co-investments alongside private market fund managers.
