Job summary

PCORI in Washington, DC seeks a Program Officer for Emerging Interventions Assessment within the Evidence Synthesis and Assessment team. Qualifications

• Doctoral degree and 2+ years of experience in a research discipline relevant to patient-centered outcomes research or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in health technology assessment is required; experience in evidence synthesis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic objectives for the Emerging Interventions Assessment Program.
• Manage projects including scoping reviews, systematic reviews, rapid products, and horizon scanning reports.
• Oversee vendors and contractors, develop RFPs, monitor milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with PCORI staff and the research community to select priority topics and inform funding initiatives.
• Lead stakeholder engagement activities, including patients and payers, to assess topics and evidence needs.
• Travel as required to represent PCORI at external meetings.
