Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks an Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of defense litigation experience, including handling medical records and a strong grasp of medical terminology. You will support discovery, trial prep, and document management for law firm clients.

The role requires proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Relativity, and Trial Director, plus a paralegal certificate or BA. Hybrid/onsite options and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience in Insurance Defense
• Experience handling medical files, requesting and reviewing records, and summarizing chronologies
• Proactive, flexible with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and legal case management software; Relativity and Trial Director experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
• Preference for English/Creative Writing background to review legal documents for grammar and style

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from start to finish
• Draft, format and proofread correspondence and legal documents including notices, pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, and exhibit lists
• Handle discovery and document production
• Summarize depositions and medical records
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management
• Conduct legal research as assigned
