Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. in Denver is seeking candidates for an Account Specialist track. You will support Account Managers and Executives on renewal activities, prepare coverage comparisons, and help with invoicing and data tracking in AMS.

The role emphasizes developing insurance knowledge, attention to detail, and strong MS Office skills, with opportunities to grow into more independent responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or related industry.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within EPIC and maintain data completeness standards.
• Technical insurance and analytical skills - Coverage analysis and allocations.
• Project / time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with MS Office products required (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Developing Insurance knowledge and/or client specialty knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values and commitment to DEI.
• Pursues formal and informal training to develop into Account Specialist.
• Shadows AM/AS and assists on renewals and client accounts.
• Prepare coverage comparisons, submissions, and premium & rate comparisons under supervision.
• Perform loss analysis, invoicing tasks, and track/ reconcile data in AMS.
• Process endorsements, billing and COI requests; assist with invoicing allocations.
