Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a junior associate to join its New York team. The ideal candidate will have experience with M&A and/or advising start-up companies, venture capital firms, or other emerging-growth businesses.

The role involves working closely with clients across the start-up and venture capital ecosystem, counseling early-stage companies and entrepreneurs, and representing companies and venture funds in venture financing and M&A transactions.

Qualifications

• JD class of 2023 or 2024
• Admitted or eligible for waiver to the NY State Bar
• Interest in working with emerging-growth companies
• Experience with M&A, venture capital financings, and/or growth equity transactions

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients across start-up and venture capital ecosystem
• Counseling early-stage companies and entrepreneurs
• Representing companies and venture funds in venture financing and M&A transactions
• Supporting investor-side growth equity financings
• Interaction with clients including working with CEOs, boards of directors, and venture fund professionals
