Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers seeks a Junior Graphic Designer on a full-time contract basis to support marketing, branding, and digital design across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will learn quickly, contribute to visual concepts, and translate briefs into polished materials under guidance from senior designers.

Responsibilities include creating brochures, social graphics, presentations, emails, and website assets; refining typography, color, and imagery; and maintaining brand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of professional or academic graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing digital, print, branding and marketing work.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Foundational typography, color theory, composition and layout knowledge.
• Familiar with web, social, email, presentations and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of graphics for marketing, branding and digital initiatives.
• Design brochures, flyers, presentations, ads, social graphics and newsletters.
• Create web, email and digital assets for campaigns and internal comms.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, sales and business teams on briefs.
• Translate concepts and briefs into polished visual materials.
• Apply brand standards across typography, color, imagery and layout.
• Crop, retouch and optimize photos and assets for multiple formats.
• Develop templates and reusable assets for consistency and efficiency.
• Prepare production-ready files for digital and print output.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines and quality standards.
• Incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders.
• Maintain organized files, assets, and brand resources.
• Stay current with design trends and tools; assist with motion graphics when needed.
• Coordinate with printers, vendors and external partners as required.
• Review designs for accuracy, accessibility and alignment with goals.
• Suggest ideas to improve workflows, templates and production processes.
• Ensure deliverables align with brand guidelines and objectives.
