Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join the team on a full-time contract basis. You will support the development of visually engaging materials for marketing, communications, digital initiatives, and internal projects across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate has a foundational design skill set, a willingness to learn, and the ability to translate briefs into polished visuals under guidance from senior designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in graphic design or related creative field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, print, branding, and marketing materials.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating content for websites, social media, emails, and digital campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate briefs into polished visuals under guidance.
• Familiarity with motion graphics or UX/UI is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing visuals for marketing, branding, and digital initiatives.
• Design brochures, flyers, presentations, ads, social graphics, and newsletters.
• Create assets for websites, emails, and digital campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define creative requirements.
• Apply brand standards across typography, color, imagery, and layouts.
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital publishing.
• Contribute to templates and reusable design assets.
• Review designs for accuracy and brand alignment.
• Support motion graphics and basic video editing when needed.
• Organize source files and project documentation.
