24 Seven Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business insights. This role partners with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant financial analysis, finance, accounting, or internship experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and basic financial modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of financial reports, analyses, and presentations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and variance analysis.
  • Maintain and update financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools.
  • Track key financial and business performance metrics.
  • Partner with accounting and cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data.
  • Research and explain variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
  • Support the preparation of management presentations and business reviews.
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and properly documented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and variance analysis.
  • Experience with ERP, financial planning, or reporting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in corporate finance or FP&A.
