PA Consulting’s Energy & Utilities Market Analytics team seeks an Early Career Analyst to help clients navigate the evolving energy landscape. You will perform market forecasting, data-driven decision making, and quantitative analyses supporting utilities, investors, and regulators.

Ideal candidates are curious, collaborative, and capable of complex problem solving. Hybrid work with in-office/client site 2 days weekly and opportunities for growth across energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree expected by Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 in economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science, energy studies, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, visualization tools, or quantitative analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support electricity and natural gas market analysis and forecasting.
• Perform quantitative, economic, and financial analysis using data and modeling tools.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support energy infrastructure investment and asset valuation assessments.
• Develop reports, presentations, and client-ready recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex energy challenges.
