Job summary

PA Consulting in Denver is seeking an Energy & Utilities Market Analyst to support electricity and natural gas market analysis, forecasting, and investment assessments. You will work on data-driven projects for utilities, investors, and regulators, starting from a recent graduate or re-entry path.

Training includes mentorship, hands-on project work, and formal development opportunities, with exposure to client engagements and cross-disciplinary teams in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree expected by Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 in economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science, or related field.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, visualization tools, or quantitative analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support electricity and natural gas market analysis and forecasting.
• Perform quantitative, economic, and financial analysis using data and modeling tools.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support energy infrastructure investment and asset valuation assessments.
• Develop reports, presentations, and client-ready recommendations.
