Job summary
PA Consulting is seeking an Early Career Energy & Utilities Market Analyst in Denver to support electricity and gas market analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision making. You will analyze large datasets, build reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver client-ready recommendations.
Ideal candidates have a quantitative mindset, strong communication, and a degree in economics, finance, engineering, or data science.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree expected by Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 in economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science, energy studies, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, visualization tools, or quantitative analysis is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support electricity and natural gas market analysis and forecasting.
- Perform quantitative, economic, and financial analysis using data and modeling tools.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support energy infrastructure investment and asset valuation assessments.
- Develop reports, presentations, and client-ready recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex energy challenges.
