Qualifications

• One to two years of litigation experience.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Employment litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to written discovery.
• Prepare complaints, answers, and other initial pleadings.
• Research and draft dispositive and non-dispositive motions.
• Prepare agency position statements.
• Assist with deposition preparation and take or defend depositions as needed.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex employment law issues.
• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
• Assist with case strategy, document review, and hearing preparation.
• Communicate clearly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines across matters.
