Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our Portland team, contributing to land development projects under senior guidance. The role includes design development, 3D modeling, and coordination with clients and contractors.

A valid EIT and 2+ years in civil engineering are preferred. You will work across multiple projects, leveraging AutoCAD Civil3D and MS Office, with opportunity to advance toward licensure in a collaborative, multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Engineer-In-Training Certificate required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; local resume preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and MS Office.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, grade, drainage and street improvements design documents.
• Develop 3D models of civil systems.
• Assist with project documentation in civil phases.
• Participate in coordination meetings with internal/external stakeholders.
• Prepare estimates and cost analyses with senior staff oversight.
• Help manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Coordinate project specifications for construction documents.
• Perform calculations with standard and proprietary software.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and QA/QC.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
