Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. in Houston is seeking an Architectural Staff II to support design teams in preparing design and construction drawings and assist in construction administration for Public Works projects.

The candidate should have 3 years of architectural experience producing detailed and well-documented construction documents in Revit and be pursuing licensure with AXP involvement. Bachelor’s degree in architecture required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an NCARB accredited program.
• 3 years of related architectural experience producing detailed and well-documented construction documents.
• Should be engaged in AXP and actively pursuing licensure.
• Ability to read red lines and modify Revit models and other documents accurately.
• Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and construction documents for multiple projects using BIM software.
• Assist in construction administration and project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and internal teams within Revit models.
• Visit project sites and document findings as directed.
• Prepare or assist in meeting minutes, specifications, and agency applications.
