Job summary

Cleburne ISD is seeking an EB Instructional Aide to support bilingual students and assist classroom staff. This role focuses on reinforcing learning material and supervising students under the EB Specialist or teacher guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 48 college hours or equivalency, and strong teamwork skills; bilingual (Spanish or Marshallese) is a plus; experience with children is preferred; duties include small-group instruction and classroom support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must have 48 college hours or be considered highly qualified through completion of a state approved program.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish or Marshallese).

Responsibilities

• Work with individual emergent bilingual students or small groups to reinforce learning material.
• Operate and care for equipment or instructional materials used in the classroom.
• Help students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher.
• Guide independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work as assigned by EB Specialist or teacher.
• Assist with supervision of students during meals, drills, assemblies, play periods or field trips.
• Assist with daily routines and schedules.
• Provide information to a substitute teacher as needed.
• Participate in staff development and EB team meetings as required.
