Job summary

Cleburne ISD is seeking a Bilingual Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a core subject area at an Assigned Campus. The position requires strong bilingual skills, collaboration with staff, and adherence to district curriculum.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate with bilingual endorsements, demonstrates competency in the subject area and in Spanish, and has at least one year of student teaching or internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with bilingual endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district's curriculum.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, and materials to meet student learning needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers; coordinate with campus staff.
• Incorporate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Maintain open communication with parents, students, and staff; document progress.
