Job summary

ServiceMaster by RSI seeks a Water Restoration/Mitigation Technician to respond to emergencies, mitigate damage, and clean up properties affected by water. You will remove damaged materials, set up drying equipment, and coordinate with the team to restore spaces.

This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and comfort working in dusty environments. On-call duties are included with a daytime schedule and emphasis on safety and workmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Background check and urine analysis must be passed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work in dusty, dirty, and foul-odor environments.
• High attention to detail for quality workmanship in restoration projects.
• Capable of performing water damage tasks.
• Follow work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to participate in all required training.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Provide timely information to crew leaders and management.
• IICRC Certification is a plus.
• Experience in mitigation work preferred (structural drying, logs, equipment setup, water extraction).

Responsibilities

• Emergency response, mitigation, and cleanup of properties damaged by water.
• Must perform demolition tasks and assist with site preparation for drying.
