Job summary

The PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Clinic St. Louis is seeking an Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician / Assistant for the weekend shift. You will support hospital operations by delivering dedicated veterinary care and exceptional service to patients and clients.

Requirements include an active RVT license, at least 2 years in the veterinary field, and a willingness to work Fri-Sun 9AM-9PM. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2+ years in the veterinary field.
• Active RVT license.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, records, labs, and imaging.
• Provide nursing care, administer meds, vaccines, and monitor patients.
• Assist with surgeries and maintain medical records.
• Discharge pets to owners and communicate status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain inventory and ensure a clean, sterile environment.
