PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Clinic St. Louis in Kirkwood is seeking an Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our 24/7 team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2+ years in the veterinary field.
• Active RVT license.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations and care plans, review records and diagnostics.
• Care for patients including vital signs, meds, vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist with examinations and surgeries; prepare supplies and restrain patients as directed.
• Maintain medical records and document conditions, reactions and changes.
• Communicate with owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of facilities and equipment; handle inventory and supplies.

Education
