PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Clinic St. Louis is seeking an Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician / Assistant (Weekend Shift) to join our team.

The role provides dedicated veterinary care, patient welfare, and client service with a focus on emergency medicine and fast, compassionate decisions. Compensation includes a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience, with a schedule of 9AM–9PM Friday through Sunday and options for part-time or PRN candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RVT license required.
• At least 2+ years in the veterinary field.
• Strong patient care and nursing skills.
• Ability to assist during surgery and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements and performing exams and diagnostics.
• Assist during surgery and provide nursing care and medication administration.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners per veterinarian guidance.
• Sterilize instruments, manage supplies, and ensure safe hospital environment.
