Qualifications

• High School/GED or higher with relevant veterinary training.
• Two years related experience for Veterinary Assistant or AVMA-accredited Vet Tech program graduate with two years related experience; BS in Biological Sciences or related; or DVM/equivalent.
• Experience in emergency/critical care settings and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assistance to professional staff and treatments to patients in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
• Participate in one-on-one training of veterinary students and work with veterinary specialists to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist in the emergency/critical care area and provide support during admissions and procedures.
