BluePearl Veterinary Partner, Skyline Veterinary Specialists & Emergency, invites an extraordinary Emergency Veterinary Technician to join daytime and overnight schedules. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

This fast-paced role offers opportunities to expand and grow skills while working alongside talented veterinary professionals in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Emergency veterinary care and anesthesia monitoring experience.
• Ability to triage and monitor vitals.
• Proficient in radiography and animal handling.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and use anesthesia equipment.
• Triage emergency cases and record vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Interpret vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Initiate CPR for at-risk patients.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place feeding tubes and central line catheters.
• Mentor and train coworkers.
• Address client concerns with empathy.
