Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. This role offers a starting pay of $20.00–$40.00 per hour, dependent on experience and progression through our competency levels.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will support anesthesia, triage emergencies, perform digital radiography, monitor vital signs, interpret data, and assist with CPR, venous access, and line placement.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper patient positioning.
• Monitor vitals and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Initiate CPR for at-risk patients when needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
