Metropolitan Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Rockville, MD is hiring full-time Veterinary Technicians for their Dayshift Emergency team within Thrive Pet Healthcare. You will triage cases, perform diagnostics, monitor critical patients, and support treatments while guiding clients through the visit.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience; CVT/RVT/LVT credentials are preferred and emergency setting experience is strongly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Active CVT/RVT/LVT credentials preferred.
• Experience in emergency veterinary settings strongly preferred.
• Strong anesthesia skills and ability to monitor vital signs and integrate findings.

Responsibilities

• Triages urgent cases and performs diagnostic testing in the ED.
• Monitors critically ill patients and supports treatments and procedures.
• Guides clients through every step of their pet's emergency visit.
