Job summary
Thrive Pet Healthcare’s Veterinary Specialty Hospital of Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a Veterinary Nursing Manager to lead the veterinary technician team and collaborate with veterinarians to deliver exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency/specialty setting.
The ideal candidate is a CVT with emergency experience and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality patient care at our Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Qualifications
- CVT preferred; Emergency vet tech experience a plus.
- Minimum 3 years in emergency veterinary technician role preferred.
- Prior management or supervisory experience highly preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills required.
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and guide technicians on best practices.
- Assist with patient flow and maximize productivity across hospital functions.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures as credentialed; follow state acts.
- Educate clients about Thrive Membership options, medications and treatments.
- Train and mentor nursing staff; ensure accurate medical records.
