BluePearl Pet Hospital in Golden Valley, MN, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced Emergency, ICU, and Triage departments. Full-time: Days, swings and overnights. Weekend and holiday requirements.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will support exams, diagnostics, and procedures, monitor vitals, and help with treatments. We value teamwork and ongoing growth within a leading veterinary hospital network.

Qualifications

• Provide nursing care to patients according to hospital standards and core values.
• Understand medication classifications, monitor responses, and document effects.
• Accurately monitor vitals and patient condition during care.
• Proficiently use hospital software such as Cornerstone and Instinct.

Responsibilities

• Assist in exams, diagnostics, and procedures under supervision.
• Support after procedures and monitor patient recovery, including vital signs.
• Assist with advanced procedures like endoscopy when needed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized hospital and patient enrichment.
• Collaborate with DVMs and LVTs to provide high-quality care.
