BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tukwila is hiring a Veterinary Assistant for our 24/7 Emergency department. You will triage cases, assist DVM, perform diagnostics, and help with ICU and inpatient care, communicating clearly with clients.

The role requires compassion, teamwork, strong nursing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. We offer pay band of $22.19-$32.82/hr plus shift differentials, health insurance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Provide nursing care to emergency patients following hospital standards.
• Assist DVM with triage, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
• Monitor patient status and communicate needs to clients.
• Maintain anesthesia/monitoring support for ASA I/II patients.
• Stay current with CPR guidelines and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming emergency cases and assist veterinarians during rounds.
• Perform radiographs, lab work, and other diagnostics as needed.
• Care for ICU/inpatient patients and coordinate discharge planning.
• Communicate treatment plans and prognosis to clients clearly.
