Job summary

Timberline Veterinary Emergency and Specialty is seeking additional veterinary assistants to support our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in North Seattle. We value skilled, compassionate teammates who thrive in a busy, team-driven environment.

You will triage patients with veterinarians and licensed technicians, assist with treatments and procedures, restrain and handle animals, prep for surgery, manage phone calls, and help keep the hospital clean, safe, and stocked.

Qualifications

• Able to pass the Washington pharmacy clerk exam within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients and assist veterinarians and licensed technicians.
• Perform treatments as directed and assist with restraining patients.
• Set up for surgical and patient procedures and walk animals as needed.
• Help keep the hospital and grounds safe, clean, and stocked.
• Assist with phone calls and other clinic tasks.
