Timberline Veterinary Emergency and Specialty in Seattle, WA, seeks a Veterinary Assistant for Emergency and Critical Care. You will collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to triage patients, assist with procedures, restrain animals, and maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have veterinary or animal handling experience, enjoy learning, and thrive in a busy, team-driven setting. The role includes holiday rotation and a competitive hourly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to pass the Washington pharmacy clerk exam within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients and assist with treatments as directed.
• Help restrain patients and set up for surgical/patient procedures.
• Walk animals and clean cages as needed; keep hospital and grounds safe and stocked.
• Assist with phone calls and communicate effectively with team and clients.
